The best steak and sides we’ve ever had at a resteraunt in our area. The steak is on a hot cast iron plate and stays warm throughout. The mashed potatoes taste like a twice baked without the skin. Serving size is plentiful. The waiter, busman, Chef, lady tending bar were so nice and always smiling. The design of dining room felt elegant. Their menu has various cuisines to choose from. We’ve been wanting to try Primo since they opened but never got around to it. Always navigating to places we’ve been. Well today is our anniversary and wanted to go somewhere special so we decided to eat at Primo. We are very happy that we made reservations. Primo is now our number one steakhouse!!!

So happy to have found this restaurant in Libertyville. We went on a Saturday night with another couple. Great wine selection. The guys both had chicken piccata which was excellent and my friend and I shared warm Brussel sprout salad and firecracker shrimp. Large portion. Absolutely delicious. Love the atmosphere. Cozy. Great place for girls night out also. We'll be back.

We dined in the bar area at one of the high top tables next to the outdoor enclosed heated patio. Enjoyed the fireplaces and heaters with the open air. Decided to try their early dinner Pork chop special and you couldn’t go wrong! It was such a large portion and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend the early dining option and will definitely be back!

Great decor and a fun experience for people and kids alike! The animatronics move every few minutes and there’s a giant tank arch you walk under. It is loud since they mimic a tropical thunderstorm and the animatronics make noise, so if your plan is a quiet dinner- this is not the place. But if you love to bask in wonderful atmosphere and heavily themed spots, you’ll enjoy. Rainforest Cafe is a delightful concept with yummy food. My personal favorite is surprisingly the Korean Fried Chicken Lettuce Wraps. Delightful gochujang and sweet and sour sauce over perfectly lightly breaded chicken with nuts. We followed it up with one of our favorites Pastalaya which is a buttery cajun delight with a kick! A volcanooooooo is a must for a rainforest cafe (though I am VERY tempted by their limited time Tsunami Cake and have plans to go back to get it). All in all, definitely worth a try at least once!
