Best Restaurants for Special Occasions in Bragg Creek

We have seen this restaurant many times while mountain biking in Bragg Creek and noticed how busy it always seemed to be. We decided to take a night off from cooking over the holidays and take everyone out. The restaurant is terrific......service was top notch, lots of great food and drink selections and everyone raved about their dinners.....we will be back.

Love going to Mercato’s Always an excellent experience because of food and service. We’re treated like family. It’s always nice to “come home”. Cheers

The food was absolutely delicious. Shared many different plates with friends including the roasted carrots (to die for), the beets, the tomato burrata ( warmed and so much flavor), the cabbage, the ahi tuna, the chicken, the steak and the scallops. Finished with sharing a piece of coconut cake and the butterscotch pudding. All amazing!

Where do I even start! My husband and I came here for the first time to celebrate our three-year anniversary, and I cannot believe we hadn’t come here sooner. The ambiance was perfect—warm lighting and cosy decor set the stage for a lovely evening! We were greeted by Stu, who is super friendly (and very funny) and he made us feel right at home! We even had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who was absolutely lovely and took the time to chat with us and gave us recommendations for other restaurants as well, as we are new to Calgary. They offer a wide variety of dishes, but we opted for their specials. I ordered the seafood pasta, while my husband chose the wagyu steak. Both dishes were beautifully presented and incredibly delicious. To finish off the evening, we indulged in dessert. The Nutella cheesecake was heavenly—light and creamy with just the right amount of sweetness. Overall, our experience at Carino was exceptional. We left feeling happy, full, and excited to return. If you're looking for a place that combines great food with a lovely atmosphere, Carino is definitely the place for you!

Bridgette Bar has somehow managed to pair an intimidate dinner party feeling with an exclusive experience, it feels a little like a fancy dinner party hosted at a friends, but with a menu and cocktail selection that could only be accomplished by professionals. Each plate had a special, delicious twist and the t-bone steak was perfection.
