Best Restaurants for Special Occasions in Captiva Island

Was well taken care of when we arrived. We seated in area we requested. Server was very polite. Let us know bartender was a little backed up because it was very busy. Only issue was we have gone there for quite a few years & always got bread to start with. Asked after we got our drinks we asked why we hadn't gotten any. We were told that we have to ask/request it. And server never mentioned it that I guess was a change in their policy.

Went for a Valentine's dinner with the wife. She had a filet ( 6 once ) and ordered a special tommyhawk ( western ) steak. (30 once ). Now, all this is said and done. I have never ordered but wanted to, a stake of this magnitude. The wife was presented with a rose upon seating, which was a nice touch. The waiter was great and very helpful. I love mushrooms with my steak, and the waiter asked the cook if this could be accomplished. All my wishes and the wife's wishes were met and I must say a very surprising enjoyment. The mushrooms were some of the best I have ever had for the spur of the moment, the stakes were done absolutely perfect, the service was spot on, the staff went out of there way to make the evening a special night. The stakes melted in your mouth, and the rest of the meal was spot on. Whoever the cook was, my thanks for a perfect meal. Thank you for the mushrooms, they were phenomenal. We will definitely be returning.

Made reservations on Valentine's Day for late afternoon since they were booked. At any rate, we had drinks at the bar first and the cocktails were delicious. We had Molto Mojitos and a Aperol Spritz Martini which the bartender didn't know how to make the martini. I told her the ingredients and it was outstanding. The Drink tasted better than the one I had at another restaurant. We ordered the Lasagna, Dover Sole and Tagliatelle with Lobster which were all delicious. Had the Affogato for desert and that was also plentiful and delicious. Will definitely go back. Service was superb.

This is an excellent place to dine. The menu offers many interesting options, especially appreciated by my husband and I who enjoy ordering multiple appetizers sometimes, instead of a full entree. Our drinks were delicious and the carrot cake topped off our last evening of vacation in Florida. And a special thank you to the lovely Kia for making us feel special! They need more parking because everyone wants to eat here!

We had the immense pleasure of taking my mother to Sails for her birthday, and from the moment we arrived, everything was outstanding. The Maître D’ greeted us warmly and took our pictures in front of the restaurant. When we were seated,liike queens, no less!-they had even placed pillows on our chairs, a thoughtful touch that made the evening feel even more special. The level of attentiveness from the staff was impeccable. They were always ready to pour our wine, serve each dish, answer our questions, make suggestions, etc. They even presented my mother with a personalized birthday menu, which she got to take home as a keepsake. After bringing out a birthday cake and making my mother feel truly celebrated, they sent us off with warm smiles and expressed how eager they were to have us back. And the food? Simply divine. We started off with a complimentary truffle amuse-gueule from the chef-an exquisite bite that set the stage for an exceptional meal. We enjoyed the lobster,the lamb, and also ordered the octopus, beet salad, crab and avocado, steak tartare, and my personal favorite-the linguine nori. Every single dish was executed to perfection, bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. There wasn’t a single thing we could complain about. This wasn’t just a dinner; it was an experience-one so perfect that I’m already planning my own birthday celebration there (or forcing my family to take me!). If you’re looking for a place that delivers impeccable service, incredible food, and an unforgettable atmosphere, this is it. Ten out of ten-no notes!
