Butterjoint is a comfy bar and restaurant located in North Oakland.     This was our first time visiting. We loved every minute of our dining experience. Nate was great. He was informative, and funny! He made us the BEST French coffee EVER! The French, toast, crepes and eggs benedict were amazing. We can't wait to come back.

    Umi never ceases to amaze. The food is always divine, especially the chocolate maki. The team of servers are always incredible, too. This time we had the lovely Ashley and she was fantastic. She not only recommended the perfect drink for me, she also seamlessly allowed a dessert substitution for the 7 course dinner tour. If you are a fan of upscale sushi, this is a must-try restaurant!

    I went to Soba for my birthday celebration. The service was warm and welcoming. The absolutely delicious, high quality food was served in ample portions. The cocktails were wonderful and creative. We tried things from every section of the menu and everything was a success. Soba has landed high on my "Return to" list.
