Best Restaurants for Special Occasions in Elk Grove

I will be returning to Ella. This initial experience was a lunch time that. I enjoyed the burger and learned about the process of creating the meal, the baking of the bread, and the quality of meat used, just how this meal differs from Ella's sister resturants. The NA tonic was refreshing, I look forward to giving their signature G&T a try. The ambiance is refreshing in Sacramento, where we have so few high-end establishments. I'd recommend visiting solo at the bar, at a table with a friend's or a private space to enjoy your party. Pricing was fine, overall comparable to area resturants.

As we have come to expect, the food and service was excellent. While the menu is limited, everything is top quality. I enjoyed the sea bass and my wife the salmon, both were excellent. We also enjoyed a nice wine suggested by our server. As it was my wife’s birthday, the complimentary dessert was really appreciated. The Bistro is our go to restaurant for those special occasions. We highly recommend it!

We were first seated at the bar while we waited for our table. Watching the kitchen is fascinating. Although we had a reservation, we had to wait for our table, but it wasn’t a long enough wait to finish our pre-dinner cocktails. Our table was secluded from the main area, so we felt like we almost had our own private room. We had the pre fixe menu with wine pairings. The wine pairings were excellent. We made our selections from the menu and the staff’s recommendations only reinforced our choices. Overall, the experience is pricey, but totally worth it. It was probably the best meal of our lives.

Food and service are top notch but the prices are too high. I realize costs have gone up etc etc. I’ve eaten at Sheldon Inn for many years. Now it’s unaffordable. Tonight’s dinner was a splurge that can’t happen again. I’m glad there are people who can afford it. Let them enjoy. I will be unable to return due to cost. Especially because I can get a better burger, the least expensive thing on your menu, at Tower Cafe or Revolution Winery and Kitchen for less than yours. Disappointing that you’ve priced yourself out of my disposable income.

Great experience overall. Initial service was a little slow, but food was amazing and seating was as expected.
