Best Restaurants for Special Occasions in Glen Ellyn

Last year i went on new years day and it was way less like 120 for 2 people. 150 w tip. This new years day. I was not told it would be additional holiday pricing. It cost me 211 w tip for 2 people. used to be 50 per dinner then it had gone up to 60 then 70 now 80 on holidays. Its good but becoming way overpriced. Why so many changes. Also last yr dinner was going on at 4 430. I went in today and was told it was not open til 5 but there were reservation options listed for the whole day online. Servers were not as nice as usual

Love the Holiday Pop-up! And the food and service were excellent, as always! Shay was fabulous and so personable. A great post-Christmas celebration.

Amazing meal, outstanding service - the only reason I gave the Ambience a 3 was for the direct heater over our table on the upper level, we were sooo hot 🥵 we asked to turn down the heat but it was still way too hot! I think because it was mild weather outside it was just way too much for inside & we were the only table on that level once they added more people it was stifling. But I can not say enough about the flavor of all 6 of our meals!

Lovely space, was still decorated for holidays when we went just after Christmas. Lovely sparkling Christmas Tree lights at each table. Love the backlit wine list and menu make them easy to read in this somewhat dark restaurant. Ribs are fantastic and makes it hard to try something new but two in our party had the salmon and pork chop—both quite good. Owner Dick always stops by to welcome you. Service was good. It was louder than normal with a completely full house during the holidays but normally noise is not bad. Great place, cozy feel.

A family owned restaurant that has things working to perfection. Delicious Italian food. Lively relaxed atmosphere. Tables are tight but we could hear each other with the place full. Excellent, friendly service and great value. We will be returning.
