Best Restaurants for Special Occasions in Hammond

I have eaten at this restaurant many times. The food is always excellent. But on this trip, the steak was a little under par. The stone crab appetizers were awesome.

We moved to New Orleans over 6 years ago, one of the draws was the vast possibilities for dining out. Although we will probably never exhaust our list of places to try we return again and again to GW Fins. It’s been #1 on our list for years now because they consistently deliver the best dining experience on every level, first and foremost the quality of the food and service. Last night was another perfect meal from appetizer to dessert, and Marlon was delightful. Much praise and many thanks go to Gary Wollerman and Chef Michael Nelson.

Irene’s never disappoints. The food is amazing, and our Server, Honeybear was fantastic. If you want to treat yourself to a very nice dinner, go to Irene’s!

Our hostess Carolina was amazing! Perfect way to be treated into the restaurant! Service was amazing.

Our server, Heather, was incredibly fast, friendly, and knowledgeable. She made great recommendations and was so fun to be around. You can tell she loves people and her job!
