Walking into The Ruxton feels like stepping into a world of pure opulence. From the warm lighting to the tasteful décor, everything about the atmosphere left me in awe. I also appreciated the music selection, which was refreshingly diverse—and I loved the unexpected twist of hearing some Christian rap in the playlist. Our server, Jordyn, elevated the experience with excellent service and thoughtful recommendations. The Wagyu steak, paired with its rich sauce, was simply outstanding, and the Wagyu sliders did not disappoint either. One of the highlights was the salad, featuring bacon so flavorful it might be the best I’ve ever had. The lobster mac and cheese was solid—maybe not quite at the level of my grandmother’s Southern-style recipe, but still satisfying in its own right. Overall, everything—from the ambiance to the attentive service—made for a wonderful lunch date. We had the most amazing dinner last night. Our server was knowledgeable, kind, and attentive. My duck was cooked perfectly as was my wife’s glazed catfish. The cocktails were cold and balanced. Our daughter appreciated the kids menu. Desserts were off the charts, especially the chocolate pots de crème with marshmallow fluff. It’s the best meal we’ve had in over a year.

We brought my elderly mother for a celebration lunch and everyone on the staff was just so lovely to her. The food was incredible, the portions were generous, my husband said his steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned and he is very hard to please! We will definitely be back!

Great Italian restaurant - the best in Baltimore! I took my wife here for our anniversary. I had the Fettuccine Bolognese and my wife had the Fettuccine Toscana...both were top notch dishes and the homemade pasta makes all the difference. Service was great too. Ristorante fantastico!

I went on Valentine’s Day so that’s why I have it the ambience lower and the sound rating but I would 100% recommend this place to anyone I know and would easily go back myself the staff were very nice the decor was lovely and someone even with all the noise and fuss since they seemed to be quite overbooked for the holiday weren’t able to make it as though we were still kind of on your own you were able to feel like you could talk freely and you didn’t really hear the conversations of tables around and it was still somewhat intimate between you and your date or party. One of the best meals I have ever had since living in the Baltimore area that didn’t break the bank.
