Recommend the smoked salmon starter and the duck (which I got topped on the kale salad) was yummy.More infoThe Frog and the PeachPrice: Expensive• American• New Brunswick•4.5

Food and service was great and the holiday cocktails this year were just fantastic. We have made this an annual tradition. Don’t miss out and pay them a visit all year long for more great food and cocktails. The Big Guys 3.5lbs Porterhouse with sides can feed 3 hungry folks with some left over. Don’t miss the meatballs and the polenta as sides or starters. All the pasta dishes are cooked perfectly and specials will often change your mind. A special place to eat.More infoCatherine LombardiPrice: Expensive• Italian• New Brunswick•4.7

We had a lovely table near the fireplace and our favorite server, George. We are made to feel very important. Jose, the maitre’d has the ability to make every customer feel like a VIP. Many restaurants have good food, but here you are made to feel special. We started with shrimp cocktail and the specimens were very large. The sauce as hot as we love!! Entrees were chosen from the specials, a black bass and a sliced filet mignon. Both excellent. We had the bread pudding for dessert, that came with a candle, plate decoration and a singing troupe!!! A very nice Sauvignon blanc washed it all down. A perfect celebration!!!!More infoMetuchen InnPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Metuchen•4.7
- RrishiNew York City •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoThe best steakhouse in NJ and none other comes even a close second in comparison. The Boss in his RED Steakhouse 85 logo shirt, the staff simply amazing. Went with two kids and 6 adults and they treated us with so much patience with my allergies to seafood and my wife being a person who does not eat read meat ( go figure). The food you ask? OMG the bacon, the Calamari ( wife and friends who had it) and the Shrimp ( wife told me) just delicious and cooked to perfection along with the 40 Oz porterhouse ( medium) and my wife’s Veg Risotto layered with Cilantro Shrimp. Fabulassimo. Have lost count how many times I have been there but if you are in NJ, heck if are in NYC, this is where you should be coming if you like the Tomahawk, the Ribeye and baby the Porterhouse. Give you 400 out of 100. ❤️🎉🤗🎈🎂🥃👏🦌🎅 merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah and Happy New 2025 to the staff and personnel of Steakhouse 85.More infoSteakhouse 85Price: Expensive• Steakhouse• New Brunswick•4.8
