Best Restaurants for Special Occasions in Woods Hole

We just had the most wonderful dinner at the venetian. The NY sirloin was cooked to perfection and the chicken marsala was amazing! Our waiter, Christian, was super nice, gave great suggestions about food, and checked in frequently to make sure everything was good. The restaurant was very busy but our food came out very fast considering! We truly enjoyed eating under the ornament/holiday filled restaurant.

This was my second time here and it did not disappoint. Server was friendly and attentive. I love the ambience. All the food was delicious!! We got the Chicken Parm and the Eggplant Parm. Could have used a little more linguini and sauce though. The Italian bread was very yummy as was the Caprese salad and the soups. The Creme Brulet dessert was to die for! My go to Italian restaurant when in Falmouth!

Fantastic Christmas Eve lunch at The Mooring. Sat in the patio on the water's edge. Nice and warm with overhead heaters. Seafood Risotto - a special seasonal item - delish with lobster and shrimp. Pan fried sole with butter sauce very delicate and served with potatoes and some greens. Service perfect. Food exceptional. A great time by all. Definitely would recommend.

Everything was spectacular, from the crab cakes to the center cut filet (I recommend the bourbon cream as the sauce). Service was great. We went two days before Christmas so it was not very crowded. Great place for a special occasion.

Our lunch was delicous. Service was very good. Our server Jillian was very good. Only one thing disappointing and that was the crème brûlée, it seemed very liquified and not custard like. Overall everything was very good.
