Best Sunday Lunch Restaurants in El Cerrito

The service is exceptional. I would have given it five stars, but the flickering lighting detracted from the experience. BBQ Shrimp was like you were in New Orleans, so Yummy. The black cod was amazing. The greens had the right amount of vinegar to heat and were very flavorful. My cousin and I had never tried goose, so we ordered it. While it was good, it was our least favorite. However, the pot pie that came with it was excellent. The cocktails and wine were great. I would go back again.

What a gem! Excellent service, calm ambiance allowed the dining experience to shine. The food was presented so beautifully and simply that the dining experience was a treat.

Brunch today was our (3 adults + 3 teenagers) first experience. Great in every respect! Chose GLK Lake Merritt based upon Open Table info and patron reviews. A follow up visit is a must!!

Very unique restaurant! The food is amazing and also the atmosphere. The prices are a bit high but overall are balanced with the food quality

From before the meal through the end, our experience at new-to-us Creekwood was excellent. When we called to say we’d be late because of the weather and traffic, he was extremely gracious and accommodating. The meal was delicious, but an equal highlight was the service; our waiter cheerfully dealt with requests (lots) from our party of three, and our bus-person was lovely as well. THIS is what post-Covid dining should look like! We will return soon. Anne Marshall
