Food and services were outstanding , tight fit but worth it

It was absolutely fantastic. Great food, our server was exceptional, everything was terrific.

Went for lunch around 1PM on a Saturday and they gave us (a family with kids!) a nice table by the window. Had meatballs and octopus appetizers and both were good, but octopus was superlative. I had the boar/porcini tagliatelle and wife had gnocchi. Both were excellent. Kids and wife finished with bread pudding and it was delicious as well. I had an espresso martini that was fantastic for my dessert. Not a single complaint with food or atmosphere and service was on point. Only possible issue was it did seem a bit overpriced for some items, but by the time I left full and happy, I didn’t care.

First time visit … 11/10! Simply fantastic experience from start to finish - food, ambiance and staff were all fantastic!!! Adrian, our server, was friendly, attentive yet not intrusive at all. Peter, the GM, took us to our table, made some menu suggestions and checked back in the evening to see how our experiences was going, if anything needed and thanked us for joining them. Can’t wait to return!

The pumpkin ravioli (special) and meatball appetizers were delicious! Get a reservation early as the restaurant is always bustling for good reason. The wine selections were vast and the service was top notch. I will definitely return when I am in Boston!
