I had extremely high expectations and Fabrik did not disappoint. From the carefully crafted individual appetizers to the breads and spreads to the local rice congee with the truffle mushrooms — every dish was an exquisite taste adventure and beautifully presented as well. In my normal day-to-day life, I deprive myself of breads and beloved pastries; for special occasions like a trip to Fabrik, I make an exception. I could have spent the whole evening eating those breads and dipping them. But then I would have missed out on the culinary joys to come. My one regret is that I forgot to ask about the butter. That stuff was *divine*. Since this is a vegan restaurant, I know the butter was plant-based. When I used to eat real butter, I was a connoisseur— this was better than butter, which I didn’t think was possible. The whole evening was a lovely experience- truly incredible food paired with impeccable service. And to be able to eat freely without having to silently question every bite whether I was violating my dietary principles and commitments was a joy. The owners/chefs of Fabrik are succeeding in their desire to give patrons a fine dining experience that is wholly plant-based. More power to them and we look forward to coming back. Outstanding.
