So you ask why Wanda Byob? Wanda Pollyana Boos/Lipot was my Mother and my inspiration to become a Chef. Wanda was an amazing cook who actually had some serious training in her country of Trinidad and Tobago. In fact, one of my most prized mementos is my mother's... her cooking manual from Naparima Girls High School in Trinidad. What started as my mother's inspiration many years ago has turned into a career that I love and am very proud of. So here I am, my mother's son, who has spent 38 years in the kitchen, perfecting my craft. We arrived for an early lunch and had the place to ourselves for a while. The server was lightly attentive but did disappear for long periods of time. He took my coupon but did not apply it to the bill or return it to me, I realized later. He could have moved our lunch experience along smoother if he didn’t keep disappearing.

Fabulous as always the crab cakes are incredible so much crab no filler. The steak tartar was very tasty as were the jumbo stuffed gulf shrimp the crab fried rice and the Chilean sea bass The bananas foster butter cake was exceptionally delicious and worth every calorie. Wine selection is also very good. Service by Semaj was top notch. Thanks for a memorable experience

Tried something other than burgers - which are very good - and I was very impressed. The French onion soup was superb! A rich, tasty broth with onions and plenty of melted cheese on top We then tried the Garcia pizza - plenty of mushrooms, cheese, some carmelized onions and a nice chewy crust - very tasty and certainly enough to share. We also received great service from Amaya (hope I spelled that correctly) who was very efficient and friendly. Thanks for another great meal
