- OTOpenTable DinerNew York City •1 review5.0Dined on Mar 16, 2025First time at Vida for me and my guys and we had a great time. Food & service were A1. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable and timely. Sophi was always checking on us and making us smile + she gave us some good food/hookah recs. The DJ was on point, taking us on an international voyage through the music. I got my passport stamped a couple times as we moved through middle eastern, Caribbean and diasporic sounds topped off with some fire blends of R&B. 10 out of 10 would recommend to lovers & friends to pull up here no matter the occasion. But if you wanna keep the spark, go with your lover and play like kids on a Saturday night. My boys and I are coming back with our wives for the experience. - OTOpenTable DinerVIPNew York City •5 reviews4.0Dined on Mar 15, 2025I love the concept .clean food no bad oils most organic . The place was lovely and clean. Our server seemed a bit overwhelmed but still not terrible. I like the food options there should be more thou. I don’t like the fact they don’t have French fries . If they had air friend fries or tallow fries would be wonderful . I think restaurants should have options for vegans, but I don’t think that they should focus on vegan for dessert. There were no options that were regular. That was upsetting.. I noticed that the quality of food is great, but the quantity of the food is very little we had to order a couple of entrées each. There should be more of a pizza selection on the burgers should be slightly bigger.. I like the fact that there were filtered water machines. And they had a lot of cool different refreshing non-alcoholic drinks. Like I said, the concept is really cool. I just think they need to fine-tune it a bit. I would definitely go back.More infoTrue Food Kitchen - HackensackPrice: Moderate• American• Hackensack•4.2
