We started our brunch meal with the Pastry Board -- all made in-house and all pastries were delicious. The kitchen accommodated one of our guests with her vegan requirements, while the rest of us chose different entrees from the menu. All of us were quite pleased with the quality and taste of our choices. We also ordered specialty drinks with our meal -- including a non-alcoholic Pomegranate Punch -- and they were all perfect.More infoWandering Vine at The CastlePrice: Expensive• American• Shawnee•4.7

The services was great despite the packed restaurant. The food was delish. This was our second time here. Try the charred edamame or the Blutini! We ate some sushi rolls that were wonderful.More infoBlue Sushi Sake Grill - Power & Light DistrictPrice: Moderate• Sushi• Kansas City•4.8
- MMartinaKansas City / Kansas •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThe food and drinks were very tasty, service was good and I appreciate all the vegetarian options that were available! It was just my partner and I and we got a nice little table near the window, which we both enjoyed! It was our first time and will definitely be back. I got the Yule cocktail and mushroom sammy, he got fish and chips and a sour. A little bit expensive (about $70 before tip in total), but worth it for the quality and experience.More infoThe Westside LocalPrice: Moderate• American• Kansas City•4.8
- MMikeKansas City / Kansas •17 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe come here because they don’t cook in seed oil, and the food always tastes great. I had the meatloaf. It was a recommendation of the waiter and that was one on my list to get. It was the perfect portion for me (6’5, 200 lbs). Carrots, mushrooms and fingerling potatoes. Very good flavor. My wife had the Sustainable Salmon over rice pilaf. I had the rest of hers since she could not eat it all. She was very happy with the meal. A glass of a red blend from Italy capped it off for both of us. We will be back soon, thank you True Food!More infoTrue Food Kitchen - Kansas CityPrice: Moderate• American• Plaza / Brookside•4.6
