All my party of ten really enjoyed the food and the experience at the Pickled Sprout. The menu was varied and reasonably priced. The waiters were competent and polite. I reduced the service to 4 stars because we had to wait a while to order and we were hungry. Some nibbles would have been welcome.

As always the food was amazing. Only constructive criticism is that the Panna Cotta has changed to strawberry Flavour on a Prosecco jelly base, the original version is much nicer. This doesn’t mean it was bad, it was just disappointing. However, overall the food was delicious.

Amazing place to eat. We are vegetarian and to be able to eat tofu and other food cooked in such a way that it’s so tasty and inventive is amazing. We will visit every time we come back to York.

Went for Wifes Birthday we go to Collingham quite often it’s just easy to get to and find staff food and reception fantastic so again had a great evening even brought a cake out with candle
