Best Vegan Restaurants in Monk Fryston

We had a wonderful experience, our waiter was very helpful, knew when to come over for orders, gave us space in between courses, but kept an eye out all the time to see if we needed anything. My daughter is Vegan and there were several choices on the menu The food was as always delicious and beautifully presented Overall a great place to celebrate a special occasion or to just have a great meal.

A favourite for afternoon tea for years but this one was exceptional and would highly recommend. The presentation was a wow and will guess there is a wizard in the pastry staff. Much appreciated as is a regular haunt for anniversary.

Ben and other servers were lovely and made it extra special for my partners birthday with a free birthday brownie and gelato. Their pizza and service was not only quick as always. Pizza was perfectly cooked and very tasty with balanced fresh tasting ingredients.

Every thing about our night out was great until they brought the bill...i know things have a service charge but to stand there and say you don't have to pay it if you dont want kinda puts you on the spot a bit ,but our service charge was £7 (which i didnt pay by the way ) as£7 pounds for carring 2 plates is a bit high and if service charge wasnt on the bill we would have left a tip at our discretion...as we are pensioners and i felt for the group of8 students opposite whose bill was over £200 pound making that £20...im just glad we did not order a bottle of champagne at £100 as that would have been another £10for carring it to the table .......bit naughty Lucias

Went to this restaurant with my family. We're all vegetarian/vegan, and I grew up in Hong Kong and greatly enjoy Asian cuisine. All of the dishes were delicious! (we got spring rolls, prawns, mixed vegetables and tofu, Thai style chicken and Cantonese style char siu). No complaints about the food: price and portion sizes were very reasonable. Would 100% recommend, and I'd love to come back the next time I'm in York :)
