- CCharlesvipNew York City •111 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoOur only disappointment with the restaurant was not having visited it sooner. Living in the neighborhood, we bypassed it many times before venturing out on a Monday night. To our amazement, the food, the ambiance and service were beyond expectations. Our server, Thomas, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. His recommendation of a variation of our usual unfiltered sake was right on. Walking us through the menu, we selected the tuna tower, the Korean barbecue with rice, the grilled octopus and the crispy duck entre. All were excellent but the octopus and the duck were particularly noteworthy. Having worked in Turkey for many years, we can appreciate the correct way to tenderize and char grill octopus. Here, it was done to perfection. Likewise, the duck was crispy on the outside yet still moist on the inside after being sliced and quartered. The outside seating was not overcrowded like many similar venues, and the volume of the music did not preclude us from having strained conversations. While pricey by some Fort Lauderdale standards, it was well worth. Lastly, we were pleased that are open table reservation was promptly honored notwithstanding a busy restaurant.More infoCasa SenseiPrice: Moderate• Asian• Colee Hammock•4.5
- OTOpenTable DinervipMiami - Dade •10 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 14, 2024Shooters was a great experience all around. We had reservations and were sat immediately. The hostess gave us the option of dining in doors or outside along the water and we chose outside. It was a beautiful breezy evening with boats periodically docking there and the passengers getting off and having dinner. Our server was very nice, polite, and checked on us frequently. We ordered the chili wings to start, and I had the ahi tuna salad which was phenomenal and my friend had the Cajun shrimp pasta which looked amazing and he really enjoyed because he ate it all. Everything was tasty, seasoned well, and very good. We had drinks, an old fashion, and a glass of champagne. We didn’t save room for dessert but when I eat there again I’ll make sure to leave room to try the apple pie. All in all it was a wonderful dining experience and I will return. The only thing that was bizarre is that the restaurant is on the waterway, so when we were leaving, the entire street was flooded with a couple feet of water seemingly from the tide rising high enough to spill into the road. I have no idea why no one has raised that wall to keep the water out or built a dam like contraption to keep the water in at night because the street floods pretty deep. Other than that, the restaurant is worth every second and penny.More infoShooters WaterfrontPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Lauderdale Beach•4.4
