Café Napoli is a family owned restaurant, established in 1989 by Tony and Kathy Pietoso. Quickly becoming a success, they moved the small basement restaurant to a larger location at the corner of Forsyth and Bemiston in the heart of Clayton. In 2003, sons Ande and Kye expanded their family restaurant by adding Bar Napoli, a swank cocktail lounge. A few years later, Napoli Reserve was added onto Bar Napoli allowing for private event space and an additional bar and lounge for the weekends. First of all, this is our second time to dine here. I rather forget the first time we ate at this place, because of circumstances. But this time around, it was excellent all around. We do not mind paying the price because it is Christmas after all. I did not get the name of our server but he was excellent. I asked my risotto rice not have that half cooked rice which is prevalent on some "healthy" restaurants, he said their risotto rice will be really cooked and delicious. And it was...My lobster tails were excellent too...everything are really good. Our server wasn't obstrusive at all. He just passed by once to check if everything is OK. I asked my husband if I can take care of giving him a good tip.
