- PPeterDenver / Colorado •16 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoExceptional restaurant. Service at all levels was outstanding. Ambiance was superb - welcoming feeling, tables nicely spaced, noise level tuned to just right, lighting excellent. Menu was nicely limited with an excellent range of foods for every course. Wine list almost intimidating, but there were good choices at all price levels. We enjoyed a nice Super Tuscan. The food was superb, with every item on the plate prepared beautifully and presented with care. This is a special place.More infoBarolo GrillPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Cherry Creek•4.8
- JJackelineDenver / Colorado •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoThank our lucky stars we have finally tried Alma fonda fina!!! This place lived up to its expectations and more; The ambiance and decor had substance but weren't to overwhelming or distracting, it's a cozy vibe and everyone seems elated to be there. Now for the food... There were so many times throughout the night that it almost brought me to tears. It was SO good and the dishes were all humble mexican dishes with only slight additions that knocked it out of this world with flavor, there were also some dishes that i would typically not try or ask for certain things removed but that didn't even matter in this case it was all so good. The staff were amazing from the time we stepped in we were taken care of, our cup was never empty they knew when to check in on us or give recommendations. I would 1000% recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting to experience there own Anton ego momemt because that is what I experienced, this place brought me back to childhood; to an amazing nostalgic moment I can't wait to experience again.More infoAlma Fonda FinaPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary Mexican• LoHi•5
- MMelissaVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •9 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoA fabulous experience in every way! My husband and I (big foodies) went the night after Christmas for dinner with my in-laws and the food and service were excellent. We ordered the crispy rice with spicy tuna, french onion soup and two salads to start which were all delicious. Same for our entrees: the black cod, 16oz ribeye, pork chop and 4 oz sirloin with the truffle gnocchi, brussel sprouts and carrots on the side. Our server and the chef were very accommodating to my MIL's strict restrictions / modifications. If you can request a server, ask for Jonathan. Since pre-covid, service at restaurants has been fairly disappointing, but not here. Jonathan was by far the best server we've had anywhere in a very long time. Looking forward to returning on our next trip to see our parents.More infoGuard & Grace - DenverPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Downtown / LoDo•4.8
- CChristineDenver / Colorado •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoWe had great communication before our reservation and was able to bump up our time a smidge on Christmas Eve, after a short wait at the bar once we arrived. The service was impeccable. We were only disappointed that they had run out of the one dessert we were dying to try. The apple éclair was a nice consolation. We definitely plan to go back as we just learned they have a "movie night special" that caught our attention.More infoBistro VendomePrice: Moderate• French• Park Hill•4.7
- PCPaulCVIPDenver / Colorado •3 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 24, 2024High Tea in the Atrium was the best. Great atmosphere and Christmas decor, wonderful piano music and even better strolling carolers followed by the jazz combo playing Christmas tunes. Price was high but the experience could not be duplicated. That said, I miss the smartly uniformed doormen and found it took quite a while to get a drink and we were seated at least 30 minutes late. Also, the newly renovated Ellington's is disappointing with such poor acoustics and "all white" decor. Sorry to say that the hotel as a whole is no longer the best in Denver.More infoThe Grand Atrium at the Brown PalacePrice: Very Expensive• Afternoon Tea• Downtown / LoDo•4.4
