In the 1920s, the building was home to a provisions merchant owned by husband and wife Emily and Charles Lums.     This was my second time dining with my family at Ascua, and we had a fantastic experience. We all enjoyed the Chargrilled Fremantle octopus and the Dry-aged kingfish crudo as appetizers. My son and I shared the delightful tomahawk steak. The atmosphere was classy, and we could see the chefs working in the kitchen from our booth. Our waiter was attentive and very polite. At the end of the meal, we even received complementary aromatic salt to take home. We are looking forward to our next visit to Ascua!

    Food was impeccable as always. Our server was a peach (tall, slim guy with long hair and beaut makeup) so attentive, right level of checking, and so helpful with the menu. 10/10 for service, will return for that alone. The insanely delicious food is a bonus 😋
