Best Fun Restaurants in Newton-on-Ouse

Found & booked this little place last minute whilst visiting York. Absolute gem, the lads behind the bar were so friendly and helpful. Nothing too much trouble and the food is fantastic. Got to say the Steak & Ale pie is one of the best I’ve ever had!

From start to finish the staff couldn't do enough for us. They asked us if we minded waiting at a table untill they had sorted our table out even though we were early. They were very polite and got our drinks straight away. The food was delicious and very quick. Those lads and lasses work very hard .The service, the food and the restaurant itself, can't fault it and would highly recommend Bill's in York to anyone.

This was a spectacular meal. The service was first class with a really friendly professional feel. Our server Oli was fantastic, courteous at all times and had a bit of banter with us. We've heard a lot of people talk about Cut & Craft and say how nice it is so thought we'd try it ourselves on our annual festive trip to York, this was definitely one of the highlights, we WILL be returning.

From walking through the door to leaving the experience was fabulous. The staff were friendly and plenty of them looking after us. The quality of the buffet and selection of meats was excellent. Good value would definitely go back. Thank you.

One of the best bars we went to during our trip to York. We had pizzas and they were delicious. They have 2-4-1 cocktails that are yummy and lots of beer selections. The atmosphere was great and the staff were amazing, it was very busy when we went but that didn’t seem to phase the staff. We will be visiting again!
