It all began with a love story and a dream. Linwood, a chef, and Ellen, a reporter, met 36 years ago in a restaurant of course! They married and began to envision that someday they would open a restaurant of their own. The restaurant’s first business plan was written at their dining room table on an electric typewriter. In 1988 Linwoods opened its doors, and it has been a labour of love for more than thirty years. Linwoods’ cuisine consists of the freshest ingredients, and inventive preparation. Our service is warm and attentive. We have developed a reputation for consistency an attention to detail. These qualities are key to our catering business as well. Brought my boyfriend here to celebrate his 40th birthday. We arrived to an opening celebratory warm drink from the chef before being shown to our table. At the table we found a handwritten happy birthday card and proceeded to have the best dinner either of us has had in awhile. It was amazing. Our waiter, Nickoli ( hope I am spelling it correctly) was phenomenal. We loved our time here and left with full belly’s and happy hearts. Much thanks!

Sisterly Love Week & dining with our favorite Delta Dear. My LS and I had the pleasure of sharing the company of and meal with our sweet Sorors. We feasted on the chicken & rice soup, French onion soup, Greek salad, Caesar salad w/grilled shrimp, and for dessert, we all had the delectable warm apple tart drizzled with caramel and topped with vanilla ice cream! Our server was attentive, pleasant, and knowledgeable. A memorable experience and we're looking forward to going back REAL soon.
