Serop's is the pioneer of Chicken Shawarma (see picture left or above on mobile) in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The earliest form of Serop's opened in Baton Rouge in 1979. Chicken Shawarma was a staple of the Greek and Lebanese restaurant scene in the beginning and is still a popular menu item today.     The Roast Turkey was so moist and delicious along with the stuffing, whole cranberry sauce and sweet potato casserole. The leg of lamb and the filet mignon were so tender I could have cut them with a butter knife. Our server was so very attentive. Thank you for such a wonderful feast for Thanksgiving.

    The food was always delicious at the Inn, but the new chef has taken it to a new level! Farm fresh ingredients with great flavor combinations that have put the food over the top. If you haven’t been lately, put it on the top of your list. And of course the staff is always so friendly and professional.

    What a beautifully decorated and charming gem the Plantry Cafe is! My friend and I had a wonderful dinner experience, and although I am not vegan, everything we had was delicious! The Peartini was a great vodka based cocktail, very smooth and not overly sweet. We had the flat bread, Brussels, roasted Maitake, and the trio of Sliders. All were great, but the roasted Maitake over Gouda polenta was a 20/10, chefs kiss! Service and ambiance were excellent. Thank you for making our first visit worthwhile and memorable! We will definitely be back.
