Best Healthy Restaurants in Sandusky

Loved the view, beet salad, clam chowder, tuna and our waiter Nick. Liked the Rockfish. Sure missed the Swordfish. Finished dinner with complimentary red velvet birthday cake for our 91 year old neighbor, and 2 delicious cream brûlée . Pier W, Best on the West. We’ll be back. This was our first time at Rosewood it was a great experience. We arrived earlier than our reserved time but were seated without a problem. All staff ere great, food was delicious. We will return. Thank you for your service on Christmas Eve.

We ended up sitting at the bar on Christmas Eve and Tracy did an excellent job serving us. The drinks were delicious. The bread isn't as good as it used to be and also the butter. This bread is rather dry and hard and we miss the honey butter. We ordered the twin filets with fingerling potatoes and succotash. It had some strange smokey tomato sauce for the steak. We were slightly dissappointed with the meal. I was glad I asked for a side of bearnaise sauce but that was real thick too. Usually we love any of the food there but nothing was seasoned enough. The potatoes weren't good because it was just fingerling potatoes with so flavor to them. The succotash was just a corn relish. We will come back in the future but not for a good steak like we wanted to treat ourselves with for the holiday. So sorry for the bad review.

A great place with good service and a great food selection. This was a holiday celebration and we were not hurried out. We will be back. Thank you.
