Best Historic Restaurants in Bolton

Celebrated a friend’s birthday and it was a great night. We had a party of 8 which is considered a large party (extra fees) but the service was great. Drinks were great. The Spanish meatballs and elevated tater tots were delicious. No complaints from our group. The ambiance is best for a date night but we still had a good time with friends.

Absolutely LOVED my first experience at the the Old Vining Inn! We were a party of 5 and sat outside with amazing service. Oscar was our waiter and very attentive and knowledgeable. Every single one of our meals was incredible and we all expressed how we will DEFINITELY be back. The Eggs Benedict with the crab cake was so tasty and the portion was large so I had some to take home. The salmon omelette was divine and the Fry basket was perfection. Can we talk about the coffee as well? Wow! This place is truly a gem and great for a date night or family night. You can really dress it up or go casual and it gives that fine dining feel without the fine dining price tag! This is my new favorite spot and you can tell the chef really puts care and quality into each dish. I literally felt like it was an experience and not a rushed franchise restaurant would be. I prefer to patron a small business rather than a franchise and you can DEFINITELY see that this restaurant lives up to the hype! I can’t wait to go back!

My dining experience at Madre Selva was exceptional. The food was outstanding - fresh ingredients prepared with obvious care and skill, with flavors that were bold yet perfectly balanced. The atmosphere elevated the whole experience, creating a warm and inviting space that made the meal even more enjoyable. Dj Edu did an amazing job. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a memorable dining experience!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Only problem , is both times we have come in to dine with reservations they put us in the same tiny table in the right corner. Next time hopefully we can get a better table .
