Manor Hill Tavern occupies the historic Taylor’s Row in Old Ellicott City. Our bar and dining areas feature original architectural elements such as exposed stone walls, barn doors, and vaulted ceilings.     Excellent location for a celebration. Best drinks around - though the beer menu could be expanded! Adequate selection of wines… but that’s all drinks! You go there for the FOOD… and GOOD it is. Not high brow but a use of spices that is tantalizing without tongue-numbing as some places. The best evidence is the subtle smoke flavor of the Baba Ganousch…the BEST! Only fault was we were not forewarned of the 3% surcharge on using credit; had we known we would have brought cash… next time, for sure. ;-)

    From the greeting at the door to our coats being retrieved for us at the end of the meal we enjoyed every minute of our dining experience. All courses were outstanding and the service was impeccable. We definitely will dine here again... outstanding in every way.
