- PPattieCleveland / Akron / Canton •3 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe enjoyed our first dinner on the 17th so much, decided to return for our ‘last night’ -right next to our hotel, a great location! Our server, Alex, was terrific! Calamari, fish tacos, mussels all delish…Pinot Gri and Cali Chardonnay tasty parings - we shall return! (But, perhaps NOT on an early eve before ‘showtime’ next door at the theatre😉)More infoCoast Bar & Grill – CharlestonPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Downtown Charleston•4.5

- WWilliamLos Angeles •5 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoStarted with the she crab soup which was remarkable. Then a swamp fox burger, which is a very generous half pound cooked to perfection. Spectacular quality meat. Finished the meal with their delicious butter cake. Very attentive wait staff. Great piano player in the background. A wonderful dining experience.More infoThe Swamp Fox at the Francis Marion HotelPrice: Moderate• Southern• Downtown Charleston•4.4
- JJerryvipSouth Carolina •37 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 15, 2024Our table was ready when we arrived. Hostess very polite. Our server was attentive and friendly to us. We enjoyed a Chianti while munching on a delicious bread with housemade dipping olive oil and herbs. We could have made a meal of that! We enjoyed the well seasoned short ribs with roasted Brussel Sprouts, served on creamy mashed potatoes. If we had room, we would have had dessert. Choices were wonderful! This was our first dining experience at Vincent's, but definitely not the last!More infoVincent Chicco'sPrice: Moderate• Italian• Downtown Charleston•4.4
- SBSarahBWest Palm Beach •6 reviews5.0Dined on Oct 11, 2024Let me start by saying Mike is an incredible host, server, chef, and historian. This was a one of a kind experience and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a unique culinary experience in Charleston. While it is not a conventional restaurant, Mike takes you on a culinary journey of 18th and 19th century low country cuisine, keeping things as authentic as possible while still appealing to our modern palates. Each dish was carefully crafted and thoughtfully prepared. The table was full of strangers, but we all got to chat and listen to Mike’s wonderful presentation of Charleston history to go along with each dish. Our specific meal was centered around Legacy families of Charleston, so we enjoyed dishes each family would have also enjoyed. Mike deserves all of the attention and reservations he can handle. As he says, he’s one of Charleston’s best kept secrets, and I believe that to be true because I had a fantastic experience.More infoHistoric Charleston Supper ClubPrice: Very Expensive• American• Downtown Charleston•4.5
