Opened on December 13, 2014 (yes, 12/13/14!) in a historic building at the corner of Woodward and Canfield. The Huma Room on the second floor features half of a black 1973 Cadillac Fleetwood mounted behind the wall and an outdoor patio. Located on Woodward Ave, it's easy to jump on the QLine or walk down to Little Caesars Arena, Comerica Park, or Ford Field. HopCat was founded on the principles of bringing local craft beer a bit closer to the communities we love. We’re known for our award-wining Cosmik fries, which are beer battered, sprinkled with our signature cracked black pepper seasoning, and served with a side of warm cheese sauce. From burgers to tacos, our menu offers a range of delicious options. We live the craft lifestyle - beer, cocktails and even craft food made from scratch. With a dedication to local breweries, sustainability and community engagement, HopCat offers craft beer and great food in a vibrant atmosphere for an inclusive, unforgettable experience.

The Christmas Eve brunch at Bar Pigalle was excellent. The food and service were fantastic. The only thing I recommend is to better time the courses so there isn’t a large wait time between each one.

An exceptional experience from start to finish! The decor at 220 Merrill is modern and inviting, creating a relaxed yet upscale atmosphere. The dishes were beautifully presented and packed with flavor. The seafood pasta was a standout, and the dessert selection was decadent. The staff really knows how to make you feel special, and they made our celebration even more memorable. Highly recommend!

I took my two young adult daughters as a surprise. I saw something on social media and thought I would take a chance. I’m so glad we did. It exceeded our expectations.

The environment was nice, friendly staff. Service was adequate. Food was nothing special. To be fair, we are older, than the audience they are looking for. Others in their 20s and early 30s were celebrating different events and were provided with a disco ball ambience, sparkler, and loud music. It has a club vibe, felt the food was secondary to the cocktails and vibe. Give it a 7 for ambience and vibe, but again I don’t believe we are their intended customer base. If you are between 20 and 30 and a party person you will not be disappointed
