Greeter at the stand when we came in was looking to her right and watching the TV and didn't see us for a little while, although we were standing close in front of her. Another worker noticed us waiting and said "someone will be with you shortly" and the young woman at the stand then addressed us immediately. I gave her our name and that we had a reservation and she took us to our table, noting the few steps up and down in front of the bar area, so she demonstrated attentiveness to our safety. The ambiance was pleasant with the Tiffany-style lamps and woodwork throughout. The waitress was very attentive and helpful in answering our questions. It was apparent that she had been informed somehow that one of us in the party was having a birthday that day and made a point of wishing me happy birthday and letting me know that I was entitled to a free dessert before we ordered, which allowed me to determine better what to order. She also noted it could be boxed to go if too full to eat in the restaurant. Food was hot, cooked as requested, very tasty, and more than adequate in portion size. The entrees came as we finished salad course, as if right on cue. As we finished, husband said he would "come back here" for HIS birthday. We may not wait that long! Very pleasant experience and reasonable price for what we received. They have a Monday - Tuesday special that was very tempting but no shrimp option on it, so we went with the regular menu. Otherwise it would have been a great deal as it included an appetizer and a dessert and two entrees, each with two sides for under $40. Next time! Keep up the good work.More infoDoc Pierce's RestaurantPrice: Moderate• American• Mishawaka•4.5

It’s been a few years since we’re been here after a mediocre experience where our service was lacking. Our waitress was wonderful and re-affirmed the standard I would expect from LaSalle!More infoLaSalle GrillPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• South Bend•4.6
