- SSonjaNew York State •2 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoWe loved Monterey! It’s a lovely restaurant conveniently located near lots of Midtown attractions. The food and beverage presentations were impressive. We had the prime rib special and everything was cooked to perfection. The service was excellent. For dessert, the Bananas Foster was prepared table side. The presentation and taste were amazing. We can’t wait to return.More infoMontereyPrice: Moderate• American• Midtown East•4.5
- TTylerNew York City •1 review5.0Dined on Dec 25, 2024I made an reservation and arrived about 15 minutes early which allowed us to enjoy some time at the bar. The bar staff were absolutely amazing! Unfortunately, we waited 43 minutes past our scheduled time before I mentioned to the bartender that no one had come to seat us. The young lady who checked us in seemed a bit flustered at first but eventually realized she hadn’t come to get us when the table was ready. After being seated, it took a while for someone to come over for our drink orders. Once we finally got our drinks, there was another wait to place our food order. The food was fantastic, but the service needs improvement—particularly with a more reliable hostess and servers. The bar staff are doing a great job, but they can’t handle everything on their own. Overall, despite these few hiccups, our experience was fantastic, and I would definitely return!More infoOpheliaPrice: Moderate• American• Midtown East•4.2
