- MMary-KayVIPSouth Carolina •5 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoMy daughter, her bff and I were in the city to see shows and enjoy the weekend in NYC from Orlando. We wanted a cute Sunday tea - BHL was perfect! We love that they contacted us the night before to ask our tea preferences-we had the Strawberry Almond, Matcha, and Pecan Praline. PP was our favorite and my daughter got some to take home to Chicago to share with her roomies. Our food was delicious and definitely filled us up for a day of back to back shows. We enjoyed all the tea sandwiches especially the cheddar cheese one-a favorite for all of us. The scones were so good - I think we finished the clotted cream and raspberry jam. The desserts were a hit as well - my daughter throughly enjoyed our strawberries as bff did not do chocolate and I do not do fruit. Our servers were perfect - not intrusive at all. At the same time they were so kind and helpful. Such a nice relaxing vibe. The room is so adorable. We loved the vintage feel-so kitchy. My daughter was so inspired by the chandelier above us, she plans to recreate it for her friend's birthday. This was so much fun and such a great way to start our day of Broadway shows. Such a fun tea experience!More infoThe Parlour, Brooklyn High LowPrice: Very Expensive• Afternoon Tea• Park Slope•4.8
- VVeronicaNew York City •5 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoWe went for lunch. The place is great. Food and service were very good. Prices were good also. They have a very large menu…Italian and various fish entrees with many appetizers to choose from. They have valet parking right next to the restaurant. While the place is upscale the prices are reasonable. Since the place is upscale I would dress accordingly. It’s a great restaurant with a wonderful ambiance, delicious food and first class service. We definitely will be going back.More infoGargiulo's Coney IslandPrice: Expensive• Italian• Coney Island•4.7

- BBonnieVIPNew York City •38 reviews4.0Dined on Dec 21, 2024The chips and salsa were TOO good. The margaritas were nice, some very interesting. I lived in Oaxaca for two summers and was looking forward to authentic chicken mole. I was somewhat disappointed: the flavor was excellent but, unlike in Oaxaca, the chicken was cooked separately and the sauce added when the dish was served. The chicken was overcooked and did not have an infusion of mole flavor. My dinner companions enjoyed their enchiladas and tacos. I tasted and did not find them to be as good as in Mexico. We ordered flan and tres leches. Both were too sweet for my taste. The flan was coffee flavored and was missing the slightly bitter bite of caramelized sugar.More infoRuta Oaxaca - BrooklynPrice: Moderate• Mexican• Cobble Hill•4.7
