Best Historic Restaurants in Flatiron District

I was so excited to have a chance to dine at Emilys while I was in NY. I got the burger because Dax Shepard talks about it so often on the Armchair Expert podcast and it did not disappoint!! It was so delicious and the waffle fries were also crispy and seasoned perfectly! I’m already looking forward to my next visit so I can have it again.

Wonderful dining experience from beginning to end in an idyllic atmosphere. Will definitely be back there again next time I’m in NYC.

Food was excellent and ambiance was incredible, but the service was poor. We were served bread at the same time as the first course and each course came out in rapid succession without any breath in between.

I initially experienced Sotto 13 for a brunch a few weeks back and based on that experience, I wanted to come back. The dinner menu was superb at a moderate price point and the pacing of the dinner was terrific. Service was attentive but I don't know the names of my servers in either experience. That would be a nice touch if anything did come up. The noise level in the front section was good because of the low ceiling whereas the back area with the very open sky light ceiling can be very loud and echo-y for those wishing to carry a relaxed conversation level. You will have to complete with the music and the loudness of the other guests. This is more about ambience than the over all experience. I will always look forward to making another reservation here!

Friendly and accommodating waitress. Comprehensive lunch menu. Not rushed to leave. Really enjoyed the historical insight from the museum exhibits. Look forward to coming again another time.
