The Manhattan iteration of the Brooklyn based pizzeria centered around a historic brick oven and comforting food. Emily has earned a following for its signature Detroit-style pies and award winning burger. The pizza here is rectangular (not round) and utilizes the "frico" technique, in which cheese is drizzled on the edges of the pie to create a crispy brown exterior. We are huge Hamilton fans and came here because of the connection not really sure what to expect. It blew us away. The food was great. The history and ambience was amazing. Our teenage boys loved it as well. I highly recommend the soup and grilled cheese sandwich with bacon. We would definitely come back again.

What an amazing family dinner! We went because I’m an armcherry fan and Dax and Monica did us right! My 19 and 20 year olds enjoyed their EMMY burger and the chicken parm sandwich was a great alternate for people that don’t eat red meat. The vibe was on point and we were cozy as we enjoyed our first NYC family dinner together. The management was very friendly and super friendly and attentive. Oh the cheesy breadsticks were superb! Just go!
