A typical food love story. A boy meets a girl while eating pizza. He attends culinary school and open’s a pizza restaurant named after the girl. Thus bringing us to Emily! The Manhattan iteration of the Brooklyn based pizzeria centered around a historic brick oven and comforting food. Emily has earned a following for its signature Detroit-style pies and award winning burger. The pizza here is rectangular (not round) and utilizes the "frico" technique, in which cheese is drizzled on the edges of the pie to create a crispy brown exterior. Beyond the main event, the menu extends to include salads and sandwiches, which shouldn't be ignored (think an attention-grabbing burger and a top-notch spicy fried chicken sandwich). Please note, there will be a time limit of 1 hour 30 minutes for guests so we can fairly utilize our limited capacity. Our outdoor dining is enclosed with heaters that will keep you toasty! Honestly the best birthday Meal I have had. The food was amazing and well proportioned. The restaurant itself was breathtakingly beautiful, very demure. And the best part was Dion, our waiter. He was exceptionally polite and charismatic. What a beautiful person and what an amazing experience. I will definitely be going again next time im in NY.

The snacks are on point—perfectly portioned, flavorful, and creatively presented. Whether you’re into classic tapas or something with a modern twist, there’s plenty to choose from. I especially loved truffle fries absolutely delicious! Overall, it’s the perfect spot to unwind with friends or celebrate a special evening. Lana was so nice Highly recommended

We have eaten there several times. Everything was very good. Most important, although they had originally assigned us a very noisy table despite my request for a quiet one, they allowed us to choose a table in a quiet corner and that made for a huge difference.
