- CCarlaVIPSacramento / Sacramento Valley •12 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWhat a charming bistro! The cozy, inviting atmosphere is complemented by the green walls, which create a vintage feel. The staff provided exceptional service with upbeat, happy attitudes—you can tell they genuinely enjoy working together. The food and cocktails were outstanding. My steak and frites were cooked to perfection, and the clams and oysters, praised by our guests, were incredibly fresh with no hint of smell. The bibb salad was perfectly dressed, with subtle notes of Dijon and anise, making it ideal for sharing. While we ordered too many dishes to name, highlights included a perfectly balanced crème brûlée and a decadent chocolate soufflé that was well worth the wait. As a fan of Pali Hotels, I’m always impressed by their in-house restaurants, and this one is no exception. Can’t wait to return the next time I’m in San Diego!More infoSaint James French DinerPrice: Expensive• French American• Downtown•4.6
- DDonnaSan Diego •14 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 9, 2024We made last minute reservation and enjoyed a quiet lunch. We have always like going to Fred’s as it is a festival environment and fun to be there and hear the music and laughter of others. This time it was quiet due to it being a Monday afternoon and not much going on in the area. The food was very tasty and service great. And it was pleasant and relaxful to enjoy lunch in the unusual quiet environment . DJMore infoCasa De Freds, Tacos y TequilaPrice: Moderate• Mexican• Old Town•4.5
- DDavidSan Diego •4 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 28, 2024The Thansgiving Feast the Cosmopolitan Hotel was excellent. The turkey was nice and juicy. The ham with Apricot jam was amazing. Garlic mash and Mac were on point. The short ribs just melted in your mouth. Even the Tamales were super good!! The service was excellent as expected from the Cosmo. I hope this is a yearly event. We will be back next year for sure !!More infoCosmopolitan RestaurantPrice: Moderate• American• Old Town•4
