- RRyanAtlantic Canada •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoThe atmosphere is delightful. It’s a mix of old world marble museum with modern comforts and flair. The staff is knowledgeable without being pretentious. Hanan was our server, and she was the perfect mix of knowledgeable, sought help when needed (wine pairings), and the right amount of attentive without hovering. The food was an amazing experience with every bite, and our wine pairing was perfect. Try the yellowfin tuna tartare with the Chablis, and the risotto with the Paul Jaboulet Aîné Syrah. The nose on the wine was worth every dollar, especially after it had aired out a bit. I wish I could afford to come here every month!More infoZoe's at Fairmont Chateau LaurierPrice: Moderate• Unspecified• Downtown•4.6
- WWilliamOttawa •2 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoThis is one of the busiest restaurants in Ottawa but I was never willing to wait at the door for a table to be available since there are so many other restaurants around Lansdowne. However, I finally made a reservation to go and I see why the restaurant is so popular, even though prices are on the high side. Everyone at our table loved the food and the service was the best I’ve experienced in Ottawa for a while. Mia was so attentive. You have to try this place at least once.More infoJOEY LansdownePrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• The Glebe•4.6
- VVanessaEdmonton / Northern Alberta •8 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe requested a booth on the reservation and they didnt reserve one at first but then were able to accomodate us. The server was great, very friendly and quick. The food and drinks were delicious. Ambience is perfect for all occasions. Only note the prime rib cut was very fatty, and it took 3 ladies at the front to issue me a single gift card… more training i think is needed.More infoJOEY RideauPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• ByWard Market•4.5
- RRebeccaMontreal / Quebec •4 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 14, 2024Another successful date night at the Albion Rooms! We were excited to come back to try this weeks features and truly appreciate the new chefs creativity and skills! The Gochujang chicken wings were a standout dish. The texture was on point—crispy skin with juicy meat inside. Nicely glazed with gorgeous presentation. Nothing makes me happier than being served a dish that is almost to beautiful to eat. The 1871 burger had all the right elements. The patty was thick, smoky and juicy. Toppings were plentiful and the bun was soft yet sturdy enough to hold everything together. It managed to be a hearty and satisfying meal while still providing gourmet taste. A big thanks to Warren, the Smoked Pineapple Express was next level. The perfect balance of smokiness, sweet and tart flavours. Loved the pinapple jerky, every detail of this cocktail was well thought out and executed with precision. Our server Nik was warm yet professional and ensured we had a memorable experience. It is obvious the staff here take pride in what they do. I can hardly wait until our next visit!More infoThe Albion RoomsPrice: Moderate• Bar / Lounge / Bottle Service• Downtown•4.4
