- NNailaGreater Boston •13 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoMy husband and I had a lovely Sunday morning brunch. It was excellent! The quality of the eggs were so fresh, the menu was excellent and the coffee and fresh French bread to start made it extra special. Quality and double quality of great ingredients and a balanced menu. Highly recommend.More infoRoger Sherman InnPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• New Canaan•4.5

- DDianeNew York City •3 reviews4.0Dined on Dec 15, 2024Overall we enjoyed and appreciated the music , the creativity of the artwork and seating arrangements . It is definitely a place to consider going for a date night. The servers and owners were extremely welcoming and eager to assist, even with the bottle of wine to consider. The food is average for bar food .More infoHatter Piano BarPrice: Moderate• American• Norwalk•4.8
- JjaneNew York City •6 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 12, 2024We had a lovely lunch at the Thayer. The fried chicken was expertly seasoned and the best I've had. Crunchy where it should be and juicy and tender inside. The Cole slaw was just right. Great snap to the fries. The other dish was the Chicken Salad club. Hit every mark and totally enjoyed it. We also ordered the soup of the day and the only mishap was it was brought out not piping hot. A quick word to the waiter and the soup was retuned and the temperature was corrected. In fairness, most restaurants never serve piping hot soup, which they should. We had a view of the Hudson and the ambiance of the hotel and restaurant is old world elegance. The price was very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. We will definitely go back. It would be a fabulous place to watch the autumn colors. Next time.More infoMacArthur's Restaurant at The Historic Thayer HotelPrice: Very Expensive• American• West Point•3.8
