- KKarenPhiladelphia County •3 reviews5.0Dined todayThe restaurant is cozy and welcoming, with a partially open kitchen. The attention to detail and innovation they put into their food is just as elevated as Chef Rucker’s Rivertwice. Every bite was delicious and presented simply, highlighting the gorgeousness of the dish. If I had to pick, the swordfish belly tartare and fried whole bass were favorites. The drinks were creative and strong, with perfectly clear ice cubes! We were so full but had to have the desserts, which as always, were light and perfect, simultaneously sophisticated and comforting. The only downside is we couldn’t possibly try everything, but we can’t wait to go back! Seating at the raw bar is a great vantage point and also cozy, casual and intimate. The staff were so knowledgeable, friendly and attentive, clearly well trained, excited to know us and welcoming. Bravo Chef!More infoLittle WaterPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Center City•4.6

Two of us at our table immensely enjoyed the Romarin specialty cocktail. Four of us shared three hors d’ouevres - the charcuterie, the mushroom tart and the crispy artichokes along with the beet salad. The serving sizes of each were perfect for the 4 of us to share. Our water glasses were continually refilled and the service was excellent. Two at our table had the Saturday special - poultry feuillete - an elevated chicken pot pie with mushrooms and black truffle oil. I sampled the special and the sauce was superb! I ordered the Moules Frites and another had the veal escalope. We all thoroughly enjoyed our food, the atmosphere and didn’t feel rushed. The interior of the restaurant was decorated for the holidays and it was a warm, welcoming environment. We completed our meal by sharing the moelleux au chocolat - a warm chocolate cake with hazelnuts and praline sorbet…delicious! I would highly recommend this restaurant for the quality of the food and the inviting atmosphere.More infoParcPrice: Expensive• French• Rittenhouse Square•4.8

Dirk provided great service. We had the amazing crab cocktail as an app which both the mustard and cocktail sauces were not wasted. We tried 32oz porterhouse for 2 and it was a real winner (gotta add that truffle butter). We were celebrating my wife's birthday and they provided a complimentary birthday treat which was a homemade vanilla ice cream on top of a chocolate shell on top of a brownie. It was the perfect size for two "full" people to share after a big meal.More infoButcher & SingerPrice: Very Expensive• Steak• Center City•4.8
- JJessicavipPhiladelphia County •15 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoI haven’t been here in a few years and decided to return as I’ve always loved the ambiance. I remember the food as being good but not excellent. This time it was excellent as was the seevice and everything about our meal. It seems they have really stepped things up a notch since I was last there. I’ll definitely be back again soon!More infoBistro RomanoPrice: Moderate• Italian• Society Hill•4.8
- BBrianvipNew York City •2 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoGood food and good value for a pre-theater dinner. Waiter was knowledgeable and attentive. General commentary for most wait staff these days and a pet peeve of mine- like many others says “are we” when asking “we diners” a question. Not sure who instructed wait staff to say “we” instead of “you” but it’s incorrect. They are not at table with “us.” Endeavoring to Include themselves in the diner’s experience is overly familiar, incorrect and at times condescending. Nonetheless, They work hard. Tip well!More infoEstia - PhiladelphiaPrice: Very Expensive• Greek• Center City•4.8
