Best Historic Restaurants in Riverhead

It was a lovely meal well served in a beautiful room. However, because it was a Thanksgiving dinner, it was not possible to accommodate dishes to fit dietary laws, which was a little bit frustrating.

Claudia our waitress was so professional and made our dining experience one of the best. Duck wings were fabulous! We all ordered steaks, three bison one beef porterhouse. Each one cooked yo perfection. Finally found a place we will go over and over!

Dimon Estate is a really lovely place! It has old world charm and a big bonus is that the tables are nicely spaced so you don't feel cramped as one can in many other restaurants. The menu is seasonal although favorites from the previous season were updated to reflect Autumn availability. There are many options to enjoy. We had the eggplant parmigiana (with added shrimp) and shrimp scampi. Of note, the scampi was more of a shrimp marinara over pasta but it was delicious in any event. The service was quite good. Were love bread and wish that they provided some although the portions were ample so we didn't really need it! We will definitely be going back.
