We may be new to OpenTable, but we have been wowing our guests for over 275 years by featuring overly generous portions of the finest beef, veal and seafood served in a gracious white table cloth atmosphere. Legend has it that the Inn even served President George Washington himself in this very same historic building set in scenic Chester County.The cocktail lounge is warm and inviting, and the well thought out wine list includes a broad spectrum of varietals and geographic origins.Family friendly, the Seven Stars has not only a great Children’s Menu but also a Young Adult’s Menu. White Dog Cafe's newest location brings local, seasonal, and sustainable dining to Chester County. The original Vickers Tavern has been completely renovated, and the White Dog Cafe has preserved the building's history while adding chic farmhouse aesthetics and dog-themed decor. The restaurant features seven distinct dining rooms, each with its own unique personality and design. In addition, there is an expansive outdoor patio with a gas fireplace and retractable cover. The open Barn room includes a large oval bar, a sitting area by an open fireplace, and doors leading to the outdoor potting shed. The menu includes several White Dog staples, such as Kennett Square Mushroom Soup, Double Cheddar Burger, Lamb Bolognese, Truffle Fries, and house-made bread baskets from local farms, alongside new additions.

Brandywine Branch Distillers inhabits a lovingly restored 130-year-old barn, located on an eight-acre property and exclusively produces everything on site utilizing handcrafted methods.     Had a great meal! First time being there under the new white dog name. I will definitely eat here again. Just a little chilly at the window with a two seater table in the back room, where we sat. That made it a little bit more difficult to enjoy the experience fully since we were cold. I do believe our server did turn up the heat a bit for us. Thanks!! To be fair, the seasons are changing and temps dropped recently, and it was raining and windy. The food was amazing and the place is beautiful, despite being cold near that one window, I would definitely enjoy a meal here again.

    Such a great restaurant! Food is delicious, service is outstanding. Love that the menu contains items not normally found such as the tasty shrimp & grits, deviled eggs or the hush puppies. Definitely worth an evening out!

    Loved our visit to the distillery. Excellent drinks and food was amazing. Thanks to the manager for the distillery tour during what was a busy time. We really enjoyed our visit!
