- HHeatherBaltimore / Maryland •8 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoAlways a fan and love love love Virtue! I had made a reservation and after sitting at the table for 45 minutes it was suggested we were on a potential time crunch as folks would be coming and then there was a wait list. We weren’t rushed per se it was just a suggestion…then after the surge we were left to hang - that’s why I made a reservation a day in advance and at least expect good to hang out for 2 hours without issue :)More infoVirtue Feed & GrainPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Alexandria•4.6
- JJamesAlabama •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoService was excellent, establishment had lots of character in an old world style. Food was delicious and authentic. Nothing store bought here and heated up, there’s a real Chef in this kitchen. Waiter was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and helped our party pair wine selections to our food. Would highly recommendMore infoIl PortoPrice: Moderate• Italian• Alexandria•4.4
- DDaltonWashington, D.C. Area •1 review5.0Dined 6 days agoEverything was outstanding, decor felt like I was in a old French mom and dad restaurant which me and my partner loved! Food was on spot every cooked to perfection as well as tasted better then anything I’ve ever had before. The only thing that I guess to complain about is the noise level raised quite highly around 7:00pm and up. (Try and book your reservation a week in advance if you want a romantic quiet night try around 5 or 6pm. Other than that very respectful staff that were on top of everything very professional and you could tell they love their jobs! definitely making this spot a special occasion date spot and will be back indefinitely.More infoBistro L'HermitagePrice: Expensive• French• Woodbridge•4.9
- AAmyPittsburgh / Western PA •1 review5.0Dined on Dec 8, 2024Extraordinary atmosphere and food! It was my first time dining at Gadsby’s Tavern and will be my first choice upon every return to Old Town. As a lover of early American history, it was an honor to be in a place frequented by our Forefathers and I appreciate knowing that they, too, enjoyed celebrations and meals there. Gadsby’s must be commended for maintaining the “feel” of being in the 1700s, from lit candles on the table to pewter dishes and a lovely selection of Madeira and Port wines. The fried oysters and Sally Lunn bread, followed by French onion soup and an entree of crab cakes could not have been better. Every course was delicious and I should think that any choices from Gadsby’s menu are equally as praiseworthy. I look forward to returning soon, if even just to bask in the history of the building. The extraordinary food is the icing on the cake of this very, very special place!More infoGadsby's TavernPrice: Moderate• American• Alexandria•4.4
- OTOpenTable DinerLondon •2 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 3, 2024When family and friends from out of State come to visit, this is my go to restaurant outside the beltway. Access is easy, great venue at a historic site, wait staff and food is always the best. Ambience; well, you’re dining on many of Martha’s original recipes. Try the peanut soup, it’s delicious!More infoMount Vernon Inn RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Alexandria•4.6
