- PPatWisconsin •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThe Walnut room is very nice and the service is great. Not quite up to the Marshall Field standard and the change to Mrs. Hearing spot pie flaked pastry was disappointing. Having said that the food was good and enough to not be able to finish.More infoThe Walnut Room - ChicagoPrice: Expensive• American• Downtown / Loop•4.6

Our server Juan enhance our dining experience with his exemplary level of service and knowledge of Spanish cuisine. He guided us through the entire dining process from picking out the best steak for our tastes we anre heavy into dry aged steak. He suggested a steak that was a special for the evening and the sides to complement. I’m giving Asador Bastian 4 stars because I wish the portion of the steak tartare was larger. That was a disappointment. Otherwise, the service, ambiance, quality of cuisine was outstanding. Please request Juan to be your server.More infoAsador BastianPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• River North (Chicago)•4.6
- BBrian FrazierChicago / Illinois •3 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoIf you are a lover of true Roman cuisine, you'll feel right at home at il Carciofo. It (selfishly) pains me to write this as it is already a long line to get a reservation, but as a couple who truly loves spending time in Italy and have yet to find an American restaurant that holds its salt, Chef Joe Flamm and his team hit this one out of the park. Watching him work the kitchen was like watching a conductor at the Orchestra. The carbonara, carciofi and pistachio gelato transported us right back to our favorite spots in Rome. We originally booked back to back nights in case we had a last minute scheduling conflict, fortunately we did not. We enjoyed last night and we'll be back again tonight to take on the other half of the menu. Hats off, Chef!More infoil CarciofoPrice: Expensive• Italian• West Loop•4.8
