Hawksmoor Wood Wharf is housed in an eco-friendly floating pavilion in a new riverside neighbourhood in Canary Wharf. Gently rising and falling with the tide, the main restaurant at dock-level is joined by a 120-seat waterside bar. Both include terraces with views across the water (squint your eyes and you might just see the ghosts of great ships laden with mighty lengths of timber that used to swing in and unload there). There's also a private dining room for up to 20 people named after the local legend Queenie Watts, a singer, songwriter, actor and self-confessed bawdy landlady (think Peggy Mitchell meets Joni Mitchell). We’ve long loved Canary Wharf and it's rich history of the nearby Docklands and Billingsgate Market, yet Blacklock in a glass tower never quite fit. One look at an old disused warehouse nestled cosily in the corner of Canary Wharf underneath the train tracks of the North Dock and we knew we had found home.     The best dinner in ages. Every course was delicious. The Parmesan butter with the sourdough, I could have eaten that for seconds. The lasagne lived up to the hype, the garlic bun was crisp and so garlicky and rocket salad was simple but the perfect side. Yum. I hate tiramisu but decided to try it and I’m so glad I did as it was perfect along with the chocolate sorbet. Loved the little venue and the staff were all welcoming. Wished the deli was open when we came as I’d definitely have been taking some bits home with us.

    I went to STK yesterday for my friend's birthday brunch. There were ten of us, and it was seriously the best! The Vibe brunch was amazing, 10/10. You should totally check it out. Thanks to all the awesome staff. I'm definitely going back.

    I cannot express my gratitude enough to the staff and manager at the Canary Wharf branch - I had the most fabulous meal with my autistic daughter and the rest of my family. We were offered a choice of tables, seen to quickly, given paper and crayons and looked after so well. The food was outstanding and we had the best time.

    My waitress was very lovely. I wish I could put her name here, but I forgot to ask for her name, but we were late to our booking for the restaurant that other people booked the same table as us so instead of them kicking us out  she put us in the lounge so you could have more time and celebrate my birthday the way I wanted it so I rate it a five star love it,really enjoyed my birthday. thank you
