Hawksmoor Wood Wharf is housed in an eco-friendly floating pavilion in a new riverside neighbourhood in Canary Wharf. Gently rising and falling with the tide, the main restaurant at dock-level is joined by a 120-seat waterside bar. Both include terraces with views across the water (squint your eyes and you might just see the ghosts of great ships laden with mighty lengths of timber that used to swing in and unload there). There's also a private dining room for up to 20 people named after the local legend Queenie Watts, a singer, songwriter, actor and self-confessed bawdy landlady (think Peggy Mitchell meets Joni Mitchell). Amazing night! 🤩 The food is delicious, every single dish! The service it was outstanding, really friendly staff , they explained every single dish. ✔️ The atmosphere was nice, we gad a table with a view at the St Paul’s Cathedral. We really enjoyed it and highly recommend.

Friendly, attentive service without being annoying! Steak sandwich for lunch was perfect. Baked sweet potato cooked to perfection. If I'd have had time I would have had the pigs head on toast starter... so at least I've now got an excuse to go back!

The Thai Curry was delicious I ate everything on my plate. Rice was too small a portion though. I was disappointed that the restaurant did not have Prawn with was on the menu, instead I had to settle for squid in my sauce. Also the menu is too small for such establishment. I thought they would have a wide range of different foods available. Overall it was ok. My server Renee if that her name was outstanding. I will go again this time to experience the Lounge.
