- AAlejandroNew York City •5 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe go to Massimo almost every time we go to a show at PPAC. Tonight we at upstairs, which has a more sophisticated vibe. Downstairs has a more hip bar vibe. They were very busy, but the service was still great. Servers were knowledgeable, helpful and friendly as always. We shared a salad and each ordered a pasta dish. I had the fettuccine bolognese which was spectacular! My friend had fusilli with meatballs and burrata cheese which she loved. Overall, one of our favorite restaurants on Federal Hill which never disappoints.More infoMassimoPrice: Moderate• Italian• Providence•4.7
- DDavidVIPGreater Boston •10 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoWe dined here with some friends, two of whom were from out of town and had never been to the restaurant. We were welcomed warmly and given the time were asked if we were attending a show at Providence Performing Arts Center which is nearby. Stating that was indeed the case, the serving staff, without being intrusive, ensured that we received our food in a timely fashion and were gracious and friendly along the way. They were very familiar with the menu and made recommendations, some of which we followed. Our party sampled something from each part of the menu: appetizers, salad, fish, steak and sushi. Everything was prepared and arrived as ordered. Our entire party was more than satisfied with the quality of the food. The sushi is outstanding. We finished off the meal with banana bread pudding which was awesome. The food is definitely on the more expensive side but the quality is very high. Ambience is more casual and coversation is easily conducted- no need to yell at your fellow diners at the same table. We will definitely be back.More infoTen Prime Steak & Sushi - ProvidencePrice: Expensive• Steak• Providence•4.8
- MMichaelGreater Boston •6 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 25, 2024Christmas Eve dinner. Festive, lively atmosphere without being too loud for easy conversation. Service was excellent, beginning with the accommodation of a late addition guest. Staff was there for every need and question yet never made us feel rushed—even though our meal went past closing. I expected great food and was not disappointed. Oysters were particularly good and French-pressed coffee always adds a great finishing touch. My teenagers had a great time and have a new appreciation for real food. Highly recommend.More infoHemenway'sPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Providence•4.9
