- PPhilipVIPNew Jersey •203 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoChez Catherine is our favorite fine dining restaurant in New Jersey. While there are many restaurants that have great food, none of them compare to the elegance and the experience of Chez Catherine. The current owner has restored Chez Catherine to its former status when Catherine owned the restaurant. It's a small restaurant located in a Best Western hotel, but don't let it fool you. The service is outstanding, as is the food. You can order a 3 or 4 course price fix menu. The wine list is large, varied, with outstanding vintages from both the US and Europe. My wife had the foie gras (a $20 supplement) and I had the risotto of the day (crumbled sausage, red cabbage, parmesan cheese). Both were outstanding. We both opted for the Duck Confit entree. It was delicious. For dessert, my wife ordered the Raspberry Souffle ($5 supplement) and I had the Chocolate Bread Pudding. They were delicious, and as we left we made reservations to return in January.More infoChez CatherinePrice: Very Expensive• French• Westfield•4.8

- CCathyVIPPhiladelphia County •10 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoKind of noisy but like a busy/cool to be there type of vibe. Don’t sleep on the buffalo chicken dumplings-pricey but well worth it. The cavatelli were rich, bursting with flavor from the sausage and mushrooms. Was full but indulged in the sticky toffee pudding-rich and buttery. Expensive and the portions looks small, but the food is rich and quality is outstanding. Great place to go for a special dinner.More infoThe OdeonPrice: Expensive• French• TriBeCa•4.8
- BBenjaminNew York City •1 review5.0Dined 6 days agoWe were a party of 6 (long-time - 50 years) friends who met at this restaurant for lunch for a first time as it is 1/2 way between our respective areas. Chose it from online reviews. Asked for a round table so we could talk more easily -- we got that Ordered an assortment of appetizers and some ordered from the lunch special and two ordered chicken parm. Everything was very good-- (one of my friends gave the host his suggestion of how to prepare chicken parm -- he said it was good but just too thick- maybe pound it more -- well, if you were to know my friend-- just ignore him !!) anyway -- we all enjoyed this restaurant and as for the waiter -- TOTALLY COOL and really did a GREAT JOB providing us with EXCELLENT SERVICE throughout our more than 2 hours there.. wish I knew this server's name (told to us but we were all talking too much and I can't hear anyway) but, if you go there for lunch this waiter will be outstanding in many ways.. all in all -- anyone living in this area has a great place for Greek (and some Italian) food! Enjoy!More infoLimani Seafood GrillPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Westfield•4.8
