- DDonaldAnchorage / Alaska •11 reviews4.0Dined 1 day agoOysters were excellent. Bread was stale and hard. Halibut was overcooked. String beans were difficult to eat because they required more cooking. Dessert of creme brulee was outstanding. Crying infants are unacceptable. Infants have no place in a restaurant of this caliber.More infoSimon & Seafort'sPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Anchorage•4.6
- RRachelleVIPDenver / Colorado •6 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe enjoyed the French Onion Tart appetizer (brandied cherries, pears, gorgonzola cheese and baby spinach salad). For dinner, my husband got the Grilled Kodiak Scallops (rosemary-blood orange reduction, risotto with fennel, pumpkin seed brittle) - delicious! Best we have ever had. I had the Herb Crusted Rockfish (tomato-kalamata olive-caper relish, house vegetables and basmati rice); also delicious. Nice atmosphere. Friendly waitstaff. Enjoyed a date night at Jens’.More infoJens' RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Anchorage•4.9
- KkevinAnchorage / Alaska •4 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoAlways a great time here. Food is amazing! We had the Calamari and Brie as apps and then the table has filet mignons, roasted duck and halibut cheeks. All of the meals were cooked perfect and they really know their sauces. Only negative thought was that it was a busy night and it was a little loud.More infoKinley's Restaurant and BarPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Anchorage•4.7
- CCareyAnchorage / Alaska •2 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoService was top-notch from starting to finish. Excellent food with a ton of gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options. Expect to spend $25-$40 on your entrée. (we both had left overs). Awesome interior design and convenient location downtown. We went this week and they were doing something special with DJs playing. It was about 2 to 3 notches too loud, which made conversation a bit challenging.More infoGingerPrice: Moderate• Pacific Rim• Anchorage•4.7
- TTerryTulsa •32 reviews4.0Dined on Dec 11, 2024Hadn't been to Orso in awhile and was pleasantly surprised. It was nice to see a fairly wide variety of Alaska seafood on the menu. One would think that would be fairly common for restaurants in Anchorage, but sadly it is not of late. It was also nice to see a refresh of the house cocktail offerings. All in all it was a pleasant evening of good food and service!More infoORSOPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Anchorage•4.4
