Best Neighborhood Gem Restaurants in Frankfort Ave - Crescent Hill

An amazing experience indeed! Service was fantastic as the waitress provided the history of the restaurant and had suggestions for cocktails, appetizers and the main course. My husband had the 14 inch ribeye and I had the flight which included choice, prime, and wagyu cuts. Sides were crispy loaded baked potato and collard greens. It was the quickest open kitchen I have ever seen. We made sure to tell the manager on duty how much we enjoyed the experience. We will be going back for our Anniversary in May!

The salad, main course, and desert all excellent. I would go back just for the French Toast desert. I had a lobster/pasta main course that was excellent, and the goat cheese salad couldn't be beat. Good service on a very busy Valentine night. Parking is the only problem, so allow a little extra time to find a parking spot on or just off the busy Frankfort Ave., and bring an umbrella if it is raining. Highly recommend this restaurant for special occasions where budget is not a consideration.

My food was absolutely terrific. I was dining with my spouse and my mother-in-law. I had the filet (it was cooked exactly how I wanted), scallops, asparagus, and butter infused risotto. They gave a rose to my mother-in-law, and it made her night. Honest to God, it was the best food I've eaten this year. I loved it. Thank you for making our Valentines a great experience. We'll be back for sure.

We Had an amazing evening as always at Volare , Chef Josh Moore, GM JT, our server Brandy and their support teams are all the best of the best. This truly is a 5 star / 5 diamod fine dining experience on every level

We had an excellent meal. Service was very good, food was excellent, we had a nice table in the back room. My wife had the Filet and I had scrimp scampi. Both were very good. The filet was tasty and very tender and cooked right. The scampi was good, could have used another scrimp or two (had 5). I thought it could use a little more garlic. We had the stuffed mushrooms and calamari for appetizers. I will say, these may have been the best tasting and the best cooked calamari I have had. They were cooked perfect and were very tasty. My wife loved the stuffed mushrooms. We had the chocolate torte and the tiramisu. They were delicious. I thought the lady fingers on the tiramisu were a bit soggy but the taste was still very good. The chocolate torte was, wonderful as chocolate always is. A very nice valentines day dinner. Will definitly visit more often.
